This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the standards of conduct required when using novaxhq.com and any subdomains we operate, the submission channels on our website (including contact and discovery forms), and any Nova X services delivered under a separate engagement agreement.
This AUP should be read alongside our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Security Practices.
1. Purpose and Scope
This AUP applies to all visitors to the Website, individuals who submit inquiries or discovery briefs, clients and authorized users who access Nova X services under an engagement agreement, and third parties acting on behalf of the above.
Where you access Nova X services under a formal engagement agreement, that agreement governs the specific services delivered. This AUP applies alongside that agreement and is not replaced by it.
2. General Standard
You agree to use the Website and any Nova X services lawfully, honestly, and in a manner consistent with this AUP, our Terms of Use, and all applicable Nigerian and international law. You are responsible for ensuring that anyone who accesses our Website or services through your account, device, or organization complies with this AUP.
3. Prohibited Activities
The activities below are prohibited. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive; conduct that violates the spirit of this policy may be treated as a violation even if not explicitly listed.

- Misrepresenting identity, authority, or organizational affiliation in communications with us.
- Using the Website or our services in furtherance of fraud, scams, or schemes that harm third parties.
3.4 Data harvesting and privacy violations
- Scraping, crawling, or extracting personal data, contact information, or content from the Website through automated means without prior written consent.
- Harvesting email addresses, names, or other personal data from the Website for any purpose.
- Using information obtained from the Website to build datasets, train machine learning models, or populate third-party databases without express written authorization.
- Processing personal data obtained through our Website in a manner inconsistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

4. Client-Specific Obligations
Clients who engage Nova X Solutions under a formal service agreement have additional obligations, including using delivered systems only for the purposes defined in the engagement agreement, ensuring authorized users comply with this AUP, and notifying Nova X Solutions promptly if they become aware of security incidents or misuse involving a system we have built or operate.
5. Reporting Violations
To report an AUP violation, email info@novaxhq.com with the subject line [AUP Report] — Brief Description. Include relevant URL(s), forms, or system details and any supporting evidence you are able to provide.

6. Enforcement
Nova X Solutions may take action in response to confirmed or suspected violations, including blocking specific IP addresses or traffic sources, restricting access to the Website or submission channels, and preserving or disclosing information to law enforcement or regulators where required by law or necessary to protect our systems, clients, or users.
Appeals
If you believe your access has been restricted in error, contact info@novaxhq.com with the subject line [AUP Appeal] — Brief Description. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
7. Governing Law
This AUP is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or related to this AUP is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria, consistent with our Terms of Use.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to reflect changes in our services, threat landscape, or legal obligations. The effective date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Website or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
